ECMI GRANTS
ECMI will allocate 10 grants to participants from developing countries*.
For students, the ECMI Grant covers a Student registration, for postdocs and faculty members, this grant covers a full registration (including also the social events).
To apply, please send an email to bolyai.tarsulat@renyi.mta.hu before 1st March 2018 with the subject “ECMI 2018 grant” including the following information:
Full name.
Institution name and position.
Contact details (telephone number, email).
In case if you are a student, a signed and stamped letter from your PhD advisor, MSc supervisor or a certificate from your Institution confirming your status.
If you intend to present a paper/poster or organize a minisymposium at ECMI 2018.
A one-page letter of interest highlighting the impossibility of getting other sources of funding, why you would like to attend ECMI 2018 and what are your expectations.
*The Commission for Developing Countries of IMU defines “developing countries” as countries with a Gross National Income per Capita (GNI) less than 7500 USD. For a list, please go here.
The Organizing Committee will allocate 10 grants, which cover the registration fee of the conference to PhD and master students.
This grant covers a Student registration.

Full name.
Institution name and position (PhD student, master student, etc.).
Contact details (telephone number, email).
A signed and stamped letter from your PhD advisor, MSc supervisor or a certificate from your Institution confirming your status.
A short CV (no longer than 2 pages).
A one-page letter of interest highlighting why you would like to attend ECMI 2018 and what are your expectations.
